Gnostic Religion
November 13th, 2009 by admin received No Comments »The Gnostics (and there have been many different sects, of course) were really the forerunners of the movement now more than a spiritual approach to life of a cleric. There is no exclusivity between the two, but the differences enough to make the proto-Orthodox have a lot of everything they could to destroy any evidence of such heretical opinions.
What created Constantine in 325 Athanasius in 267 and require that all the Gnostic works were burned or destroyed?
When I thought some of my Orthodox Christian faith, this rainy Sunday, I asked myself what was my life, because it would be a focus on a patriarchal god. If I were a better husband? What is Gnosticism had won the day 2,000 years ago: How to be like today? And with the discoveries at Nag Hammadi, the Gnostic gospels as we have changed some of our thinking, if at all? After all, the Gnostic religion is very different from that familiar with the Orthodox religion, as we do.
We know that some of the answers, because of recent archaeological discoveries.
