What? Missed diagnosis with S?

So, what is Gnosticism? Without being too intellectual or theological, are generally intended Gnosis that the condition of special knowledge of salvation comes from God, they call, simple knowledge. Although there Gnostics that Jesus came to earth to save humanity, Gnostics believe He came to this special knowledge, would lead people to salvation. They do not believe that Jesus Christ really lived and died as a fully human individual, and not that he died for the forgiveness of our sins. Instead, they believe, that seemed to be one person, and that is a picture of him was crucified, or that someone was crucified, and people didnâ time? T realize that they crucified the wrong person (imagine that!).
Why is this a big problem?
First, Jesus Christ himself said, while he was here on earth, â? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life? ? (John 3:16). Then there is Jesus Christ himself said that faith in him, not the A? Knowledgeâ? He brings that is the key to salvation.
When Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, prepared a conciliatory sacrifice for the salvation of mankind is that he offers his father, a? Begging? For example, a? Done if the father be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will but thy will? â? (Luke 22:42, “added the quotation marks). The cup, of course, was soon to come-crucifixion. If Jesus Christ is not truly human, would not need to ask the Father remove the cup from him? If Jesus wasnâ ? t really be crucified, but someone else wanted to take his place, he asked the Father to take the cup from him? Of course not.
Subsequently, reports Luke: â? And there appeared an angel from heaven. And while praying in fear of death was violent and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground? Goods? (Luke 22:44-45). If Jesus needed an angel to strengthen him or he would sweat blood, if not really dead? It returned to the plea in verse 42, if there is any method that could be achieved through the redemption (eg, knowledge), then why did the father have his child may suffer such torment? The reason is that Christ died because no other way. If the way to heaven was through knowledge, then the knowledge of Christ could provide, to leave Earth, and back to heaven. But isnâ knowledge? T the way to heaven, the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Therefore, its full and complete humanity, death, burial and subsequent resurrection.
If Gnosis has merit, Jesus Christ died in vain. I think he died for me. And you? It ‘died for nothing or die for you?
